PIO Innovation again among the best in the national evaluation

Brdo pri Kranju, September 20th 2022 – As part of the Innovation Day, the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (GZS) awarded national prizes to the most innovative companies and innovators in companies and other organizations for the 20th time. The common thread of this year's awards was: Crossing borders with innovations. The national award from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the best innovations represents the highest recognition of the innovative achievements of Slovenian companies and thus the promotion of innovation in Slovenia. 7 gold, 23 silver, 12 bronze and 3 special prizes for the innovation challenge were awarded.

The company Iskra PIO d. o. o. received a silver award for the innovation of the tablet packaging line with the PIO-PINCH continuous dosing system, which is completely new on the market. It is primarily used in the field of tablet dosing, but it can also be very easily applied for dosing other fragile materials that are prone to damage. It is a breakthrough solution based on teachable software code, which, compared to conventional solutions, enables continuous change of the flow of dosing material and thus significantly faster dosing and achieving greater accuracy of the target weight. The solution also features easy and efficient cleaning, which is a very important factor in the pharmaceutical and food industries system.
