MC Pb Safety cabinet class II assures the highest level of safety for the operator, offers clean conditions and protects the environment from contamination. The device fulfills :

  • Safety class II - SIST EN 12469:2000 and DIN 12980:2005;
  • Class II, type A2 – NSF:2008
  • Working area GMP class A by GMP or- class 5 by ISO 14644-1:1999

It is constructed and tested in accordance with SIST EN 12469: 2000 and DIN 12980: 2005.

Working principle

The chamber takes part of the air from the room and returns it to the room through an absolute outlet filter, the rest of it circulates inside the chamber.

The air enters the chamber from the front side at the lower part of the work space through the front opening and goes on through the cuttings in the segments of the work desk. Below the segments of the work desk the inlet and recirculation air are mixed.

Further on, the air travels through the return chanel to the upper housing and enters the over pressure hood. The fan pushes part of the air (approx. 30%) through the output filter H14 (EN 1822) to the surrounding area, while the remaining part of the air (ca.70%) is pushed into the working space through the filter above the workplace of quality H14 (EN 1822) and distribution grids. Output / inlet and recirculation air is provided by the ratio of the exit filter and filter surface area over the working area.

The distribution grid laminarally distributes air over the working area and vertically directs it towards the working surface of the chamber. The laminar air flow takes away dust particles generated by material manipulation. An air curtain is formed on the front of the chamber, between the operator and the location of the dust, which separates the working space in the chamber from the surrounding area.

The air curtain protects the work area from possible external contamination and prevents airborne particles from flowing out of the work space.

 

 

In addition to the described environment protection and the operator through air filtration, the MC Pb provides the protection of the operator against radiation while using radiopharmaceuticals. For this purpose, the chamber is coated with lead, thickness 10 to 80 mm.

Control

A visual touch screen is designed for visualization and more transparent management. It is located on the front of the chamber, next to the user. Its basic task is system management, error display and service settings.
