The company Iskra PIO - winner of the MEGA Inspiration 2022 award

Under the auspices of the project and this year's motto “WE ALL WIN IF WE COOPERATE”, organized by the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, the company Iskra PIO received the MEGA Inspiration 2022 award, along with some other renowned Slovenian companies. The award is given by a comission of experts to companies recognized with a proven practice of intergenerational collaboration in the work environment. Our common goal is to contribute to a greater awareness of all generations for the importance of mutual cooperation and lifelong learning. Supporters of the idea and all the campaigns are the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, the Slovenian Chamber of Crafts and Enterprises and the Slovenian Personnel Association.

Justification of the award:
This example represents good practice to attract talents and strengthen intergenerational collaboration through mentoring of students. The element of reverse mentoring is also highlighted. Employees are encouraged to take on the role of mentors, individuals in the company are strengthened, motivated and keep knowledge and skills within the company. Iskra PIO recognizes the potential of intergenerational collaboration and is therefore awarded the MEGA Inspiration award for best practice in intergenerational collaboration in the work environment.
