The DECON Professional mobile decontamination generator is an innovative, high-tech, powerful, stand-alone and ergonomically designed mobile device for microbiological decontamination or disinfection of rooms. The device is characterized by the integration of the innovative PIO Flash® distribution system, while using modern measuring and communication technology with increased disinfection capacity.

In addition to high efficiency the ergonomic design and a stainless steel construction give special value to the device, which ensures mechanical and chemical resistance to external influences that occur during use and transport. Operating principle

DECON Professional is distinguished by modern management and wide possibilities of using modern communication connections. The device allows the user to enter and monitor key parameters on the implementation of decontamination using a touch screen and a wide range of other devices with which it is possible to connect to it. The software interface allows very high flexibility with carefully designed content units that offer the operator an easy and transparent way to use the device. It is also crucial to record the history of already performed procedures according to the time and place of the test. The device provides a comprehensive insight into the processes before, during and after decontamination. A built-in measuring equipment makes it possible to record the temperature, humidity and concentration of the disinfectant distributed. The results of measurements can be monitored with the help of remote devices, which is an important contribution to a safer and more efficient use of the device. The operator is thus enabled to monitor the effectiveness of decontamination in the area, as well as a safe and optimal entry after the process in accordance with legal safety regulations.

Digitization and visualization of the device with integrated LED signals with different colour combinations gives the operator all the necessary information about the current phase of the process and the state of the device. The entire decontamination process can be recorded in digital and physical form, as the device also has a built-in printer for quick and easy printing of activity reports.

The DECON Professional generates a microbiologically highly efficient aerosol in a physically perfect way by pumping the decontaminant via the innovative PIO Flash® distribution system. The system ensures the generation of very small droplets, which are homogeneously distributed throughout the room due to their small size and very intensive distribution. The system works on the principle of a combination of the evaporating phase and very fine drops of dry hydrogen peroxide mist. The efficiency of the device is further improved by the optimal placement of a double distribution system on the device itself, which allows the device to decontaminate larger rooms or allows the distribution of a larger amount of decontaminant in the same time unit. The location of the distribution system on the device (together with its shape, inclination angle and duration of aerosol distribution in the room) contributes to the optimal and even distribution of the decontaminant throughout the room. As the gaseous mixture of the agent passes into the smallest cracks and pores, the device thus enables the destruction of microbiological organisms even in the most hidden and inaccessible details of space. These sites cannot be effectively disinfected with conventional disinfection procedures.

Use

DECON Professional is a mobile version of the innovative decontamination generator, which must be properly installed in the decontamination room before its use. The device needs to be connected to the mains for its operation. The software interface via the touch screen allows the operator to set the appropriate input parameters before decontamination. The advanced interface option also allows the operator to reuse previously set input. Connecting to remote devices allows a high degree of flexibility of use, as all input data can also be entered via external connectable units (phone, tablet, computer), which greatly simplifies and speeds up the entire input process. During the decontamination process itself, it is possible to monitor additional measured parameters (humidity, temperature, concentration), which allow the operator to see the success of the procedure at any time. At the end of the process, the device offers a very easy way to print a report or export data to the control system and save to history.

No staff may be present in the room during decontamination, they may return to the microbiologically cleaned room after the decontamination procedure has been completed. The aerosol form of hydrogen peroxide after a certain time (the device determines the time based on previous tests or additional measurements of DECON Validation) decomposes into water and oxygen, which are natural, completely harmless and environmentally present molecules. This gives the process significant ecological value.

The decontamination agent is located in a plastic bottle, which is attached to the mobile decontamination generator with a special system. The system for attaching the bottle enables the smooth transport of the device inside the building. When changing the decontaminant, the bottle is changed together with the contents (spilling of the contents is not necessary).

The movement of the device is done by precisely dimensioned wheels, which ensure that even higher obstacles (transport over stairs) can be managed. The appropriately selected material and the hardness of the wheels enable soft and quiet movement in the building despite possible non-homogeneous surfaces.

The added value of the entire DECON Professional device allows an easy connection to DECON devices. This further completes the overall decontamination of the premises. Significantly shortening the decontamination cycle while efficiently enabling connectivity with the DECON Clean device, which further shortens the neutralization cycle through catalysis. A connection with the DECON Validation device enables a more accurate insight into the state of concentration of the decontaminant in the room throughout the decontamination cycle.

Due to its simplicity and efficiency, DECON Professional is suitable for decontamination of small rooms in pharmacy, medicine and healthcare, as well as in hotels, restaurants, nursing homes, office buildings, cars, trains, planes and all other places where it is necessary to ensure an adequate microbiological level of purity. The device is intended for larger spaces and at the same time more demanding users who want to obtain, in addition to effective decontamination, a complete picture of the process with appropriate documentation (parameter measurement, printout, history recording, monitoring via control system).
