Iskra PIO and Rudolfovo - recipients of the silver award of the GZS at the national evaluation of innovations

As part of the Innovation Day, the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia (GZS) awarded national awards for the twenty-first time to the most innovative companies and innovators in companies and other organizations. The common theme of this year's award was "Innovation = idea x energy2". The national recognition of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the best innovations represents the highest recognition of the innovative achievements of Slovenian companies and thus the promotion of innovation in Slovenia. 10 gold, 22 silver, 11 bronze awards, 2 special awards for innovation challenge and 1 award for breakthrough invention were awarded.

The company Iskra PIO d. o. o. in cooperation with the research organization Rudolfovo (science and technology center Novo mesto) received the silver award for the innovation "Virtual reality in the processes of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry in the areas of development and use of isolation techniques". The innovative solution of the virtual version of the sterility test isolator is a combination of an advanced idea with technological, process and information product development. It is about the optimization of technological processes in isolator technology using advanced knowledge and a virtual reality environment. The innovation supports the sustainable challenges and guidelines of the circular economy. It represents the result of excellent cooperation between a manufacturer of high-tech equipment and a research organization.
