Visit from the Faculty of Engineering, Rijeka

At Iskra PIO, we hosted representatives of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Rijeka for a professional visit. We presented the company, our production program, and the key business processes that connect the entire journey “from idea to product” to professors and final-year mechanical engineering students. Our guests were introduced to the company’s development and organizational practices, which are based on innovation and growth.

In the second part of the meeting, we explored the use of modern tools for 3D modeling, design, and product development. Together with our guests, we examined how digital tools support and accelerate engineering work and how virtual product models are integrated with the manufacturing process. We also observed the production process of a high-tech product for the end customer.

The exchange of engineering knowledge offers valuable insights into the understanding of technologies that form the core of modern industrial practice. Cooperation between industry and academia enables the successful addressing of real industrial challenges and supports partnerships and the development of solutions that will pave the way for the company’s future.
