The laminar horizontal chamber, with its action, allows the product-substance to be protected from contamination with particles from the environment. Clean working conditions are ensured within the workplace. Filtered airflow (HEPA filtration H14), which moves horizontally from the back wall of the work space to the operator, prevents particulate inlet and impurities from the environment into the workplace. The filtered airflow is arranged laminarally and homogeneously over the entire surface of the workplace.

Working principle

The chamber sucks the air from the environment through an input pre-filter G4 quality that is mounted into the upper part of the chamber. Then, the inlet fan pushes the air through an absolute operating filter H14 (EN 1822) mounted into the rear part of the chamber. The distribution grid arranges the air across the entire working surface in a horizontal one-way stream. The air then travels through the openings to the front of the chamber. One-way airflow carries dust particles from the processing of materials in the workplace. The control system consists of an internal control unit and a control panel, from which the user can operate the chamber. The control unit controls the fan and provides:

  • Constant frequency control of motors due to clogging of filters
  • Balanced air flow within the safety chamber
  • Indicator of possible damage or an alarming state of the system

 

Control

User handling with the device is done by using a control panel, through which the user can choose between different laminar airflow speeds, light / turn off lights and control various optional components.
